Factory Trained Technicians - The Facts - What you should know.

Many aftermarket service centers or non Ford Motor Company service centers advertise "We have rigorous training standards that are equal or greater than OEM requires.  You can be sure our personnel are trained to service and repair your vehicle."  These technicians are not trained by Ford Motor Company and are not trained to provide the service you deserve.

Ford Motor Company and our Dealers invest in our people and our equipment to ensure that both are up to the task of properly servicing your vehicle.  Our Technicians must complete a Factory Certification and Training Process that is the most rigorous and comprehensive in the automotive industry.  If our technicians are not certified by Ford Motor Company, they cannot perform repairs on your vehicle.

Aftermarket centers sometimes make claims relative to their "rigorous training standards".  Beware - The vast majority of training is "On the Job,"  or on your, the "Customer's" vehicle.

"Exhaustive training", you be the judge.  Complex vehicles require complex and rigorous training.  "An introductory overview" or general training program that is designed to familiarize the technician with the difference between a wheel and tire is not considered "Training".  People that are not factory trained will make mistakes on your vehicle and cost you money in the short and long run.  We don't do business this way in Ford and Lincoln Mercury service departments.

The use of other than Motorcraft or Ford Motor Company branded parts and accessories will also cost you money in the long run.  Motorcraft and Ford parts are designed and tested for your vehicle and Ford and Lincoln Mercury Dealers stand behind them.
