The 2025 Ford Escape is the perfect companion for your road trips and adventures. With comfort, capability, plenty of space, and premium tech, this compact crossover offers everything you need to hit the road. Let’s take a closer look at its features.

Powertrain Options and Performance

A 1.5L inline-3 EcoBoost engine comes standard, making 180 horsepower and 199 lb-ft of torque. The available 2.0L inline-4 steps up the output to 250 horsepower and 280 lb-ft of torque. The engines are mated with an 8-speed transmission to give you smooth, controlled handling and fun drives. Front-wheel drive comes standard, and all-wheel drive is available.

Eco-conscious drivers looking to save more at the pump have a choice of two hybrid powertrains. A 2.5L hybrid powertrain is available on all trims except the base Active trim. It makes a combined 192 horsepower and achieves an impressive mileage rating of 42 mpg city and 36 mpg highway. The Escape is also available with a 2.5L plug-in hybrid powertrain that serves up 210 horsepower and 37 miles of all-electric driving.

Interior Comfort and Features

The Escape lets you personalize your comfort with a long list of available niceties. Cloth seats come standard, with front bucket seats that tuck you in nicely and a dual-zone climate control system with separate controls for the driver and front passenger. You’ll find handy amenities like eight cupholders, sliding sun visors with mirrors, and an overhead console for your sunglasses.

The available power driver’s seat offers 10 adjustable settings and memory settings for the side mirrors. Heated front seats are also optional, along with a 6-way power passenger seat, a heated steering wheel, and a panoramic Vista roof. Higher trims take style up a notch with quilted and perforated ActiveX sport seats.

Infotainment and Connectivity

With Ford’s SYNC 4 infotainment system, staying connected on your commutes and adventures is a breeze. It’s offered with a standard 8-inch touchscreen display or an optional 13.2-inch unit. These systems come with Apple CarPlay or Android Auto, allowing you to connect your phone and stream content or get directions. They also offer a Wi-Fi hotspot and SiriusXM with 360L.

The base audio system is a 6-speaker stereo, but you can upgrade to the optional B&O sound system with 10 speakers and a subwoofer. USB ports are included on both rows, and a wireless charging pad is available. You can also upgrade driving tech with the available 12.3-inch digital instrument panel and head-up display.

Ford Co-Pilot360

All models come with Ford Co-Pilot360, which offers a pre-collision assist system with automatic emergency braking, forward collision warning, and pedestrian detection. You’ll also get a lane-keeping system, a rearview camera, and a blind spot monitor with rear cross-traffic alert.
